Hearing loss - it could well be correctable - call freephone 0800 169 4651

The only way to find out if anything can be done about your hearing difficulties is to have a hearing assessment conducted by a fully qualified hearing aid audiologist, registered with the Hearing Aid Council (HAC).

The process is simple and straightforward, takes about an hour, and is FREE. If you quote appointment code WB RH 01 when you call (Free - 0800 169 4651) this can be arranged immediately.

It is important that you are tested professionally - and fitted correctly - quite apart from assurances you may wish to have that you have paid a fair price for your hearing aids if you go privately.

First, there is an evaluation of your hearing history, current circumstances and lifestyle to enable the hearing aid audiologist to understand your needs and to direct you to the best solution.

This is followed by an examination of your outer ear, canal and ear drum with the aid of an otoscope.

Finally, you will have an audiometric evaluation - listening to different sounds to determine the minimum decibel levels that you require to just hear different tones.

The results will be explained to you and you will have the opportunity to hear for yourself the improvement that a correctly adjusted hearing aid can give.

The choice is then yours as to if and how you wish to proceed further.

If you do proceed, then the best aid for your hearing needs from a technical point of view, fitting options and cosmetic requirements on your part, plus budget and payment plans can all be discussed before things are finalised.

With some types of hearing aid you can even be fitted on the day, otherwise it is only a matter of 2-3 weeks before you will be hearing clearly again.

If you feel that you are ready to make an appointment, call Freephone 0800 169 4651 (priority code WB RH 01) to fix a time and place to suit you. (If you prefer a HOME VISIT there is no extra charge.)
